ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT junior swimmer Mike Atanasoff and sophomore swimmer Anna Peshenko were named Liberty League Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving and Swimmers of the Week, announced Monday, November 7.
 
Atanasoff won two individual events and swam a leg in two winning relays to help RIT to a 172-128 win over Div. II Gannon, Saturday. The junior swimmer won the 50 freestyle (21.13) and 100 butterfly (50.92). He swam the third leg in the winning 400 medley relay (3:27.95) and the anchor leg in the victorious 400 freestyle relay (3:07.66).
 
Peshenko won two individual events and swam a leg in the winning 400 medley relay to lead RIT to a 154-146 win over Div. II Gannon, Saturday. The sophomore swimmer won the 100 breaststroke (1:07.24) and the 400 IM (4:39.14)and swam the second leg in the victorious 400 medley relay (4:02.65).
