ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Three RIT student-athletes were honored by the Liberty League with Player of the Week recognition, announced Monday, November 21.
Senior swimmer
Brendan Kapp was named the Liberty League Swimmer of the Week, while sophomore
Gellert Kish was named the Diver of the Week for the second time. First-year
Miles Lim earned Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season.
Kapp won three individual events and swam a leg in the winning 200 medley relay to help lead the No. 18 Tigers to a 200-100 win over Ithaca, Saturday. Kapp won the 100 breaststroke (58.39), 200 breaststroke (2:09.35) and the 200 IM (1:58.08). The senior swam the second leg in the winning 200 medley relay (1:33.86).
Kish swept the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions to help No. 18 RIT to a 200-100 win at Ithaca, Saturday. The sophomore diver the 1-meter competition with a score of 283.55 and the 3-meter competition with a score of 294.95.
Lim won a pair of individual events to help No. 18 RIT to a 200-100 win at Ithaca, Saturday. The first-year swimmer won the 200 butterfly (1:55.45) and picked up a win in the 500 freestyle (4:48.15).
