Kyla Bear was named the College Hockey America Defender of the Week, announced Tuesday.
Bear tallied a goal and an assist in a pair of non-conference games at Union, last weekend. She tied the game at 2-2 on her goal at 19:02 of the third period, in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss, firing five shots on net and blocking two shots. Bear assisted on
Lindsay Maloney's game-tying goal in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Dutchwomen.
RIT hosts CHA rival Lindenwood for a pair of games this Friday and Saturday (Nov. 18-19) at the Gene Polisseni Center.
