ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Nine RIT student-athletes were honored by the Liberty League with Player of the Week recognition, announced Monday, October 10.

Evan Owens was named Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, while senior swimmer
Mike Atanasoff and first-year swimmer
Miles Lim was named the Swimmer and Rookie of the Week.
Halligan recorded three goals, an assist to lead RIT to a 2-0 record last week. She scored in the 27th minute in the Tigers 4-0 win at St. John Fisher, Tuesday, and tallied a career-high two goals and five points in the Tigers 3-1 win at St. Lawrence, Saturday.
Sanchez recorded a 2-0 record, a 0.5 goals against average and a .833 save percentage last week. She made three saves and earned her fist collegiate win in Tuesday's 4-0 win at St. John Fisher, and made two stops in Saturday's 3-1 win at St Lawrence.
Moger scored in the 83rd minute in the Tigers 4-0 win at St. John Fisher, Tuesday, and tallied in the 84th minute in RIT's 3-1 win at St. Lawrence, Saturday.
Benard notched 16 kills and a .517 attack percentage to go along with five digs and two blocks (1 solo) in a 3-0 sweep at St. Lawrence, Friday. She then totaled 19 kills, nine digs, four service aces and two assisted blocks in Saturday's four-set loss at Clarkson.
Sangasy won two individual events to lead RIT to a 164-135 win at RPI, Saturday. She won the 100 breaststroke (1:07.15) and the 200 IM (2:13.25) and swam the anchor leg in the winning 200 medley relay.
DeLapp was a winner in the 200 freestyle (2:00.98) in Saturday's win at RPI. She placed second in the 50 (25.66) and 100 freestyles (55.18) and swam a leg in the second-place 200 freestyle relay.
Owens finished fourth out of 123 runners to lead RIT to first place at the Houghton Highlander Invitational, Saturday. Owens covered the 8K course in 26:06.8 to lead five Tigers in the top-12. RIT totaled a winning score of 35 points to best runner-up St. John Fisher (47) and D2 Daemen (80) in the 10-team field.
Atanasoff won two individual events to lead the Tigers to a 194-104 win at RPI, Saturday. Atanasoff was a winner in the 50 freestyle (21.23) and 100 freestyle (47.84) and swam legs in the winning 200 medley and freestyle relays.
Lim won the 500 freestyle (4:52.23) and finished second in the 200 butterfly to help lead RIT to the win at RPI.
