ROCHESTER, NY – RIT Women's Soccer senior midfielder Rachel Strader was named a Third Team CoSIDA Academic All-America announced Wednesday. She is the third Tiger to be named an academic All-American and the first since Marla Roberts in 2018.
 
Strader, a 2021 Liberty League All-Academic selection, holds a 4.00 grade-point average in biomedical engineering. A 2021 All-Liberty League Honorable Mention selection, Strader started all 18 games in 2021, finishing second on the team with 1,649 minutes played, anchoring a RIT defense that allowed 0.89 goals per contest.
 
RIT finished the season 10-5-3 overall record, including four wins in the Liberty League.
