ROCHESTER, NY - The RIT men's hockey returns home to take on Robert Morris University in a pair of key Atlantic Hockey contests from the Gene Polisseni Center this weekend. Both Friday and Saturday's contests get underway at 7:05 p.m.

Tickets for both games are available at the Gene Polisseni Center Box Office or online at
www.rittickets.com. Saturday is the fifth and final free ticket giveaway of the season for all RIT students (first-come, first-served, one ticket per valid ID and must be picked up at the GPC Box Office). Saturday is also Fan Appreciation night.

RIT enters the weekend tied for third with Air Force in the Atlantic Hockey standings with 27 points. Robert Morris is tied with Holy Cross for ninth with 19 points. Just two points separates third from sixth place.

The Tigers (14-13-3, 12-9-3 AHA) recorded a split on the road last weekend at Sacred Heart, winning 2-0 on Friday, while losing 4-3 in overtime Saturday. On Friday,
Shawn Cameron (Sherbrooke, Quebec/Cumberland Grads) scored a shorthanded goal, while
Jordan Peacock (Burlington, Ontario/Burlington Cougars) also tallied.
Logan Drackett (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Canucks) was sensational between the pipes, stopping all 39 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season. On Saturday,
Abbott Girduckis (Belleville, Ontario/Wellington Dukes) and
Will Calverley (Scarborough, Ontario/Chilliwack Chiefs) scored a goal and added an assist apiece, while
Andrew Petrucci (Toronto, Ontario/Toronto Patriots) also scored.
Adam Brubacher (Elmira, Ontario/Powell River Kings) added two assists and Drackett made 26 saves between the pipes.

Girduckis leads the Tigers in scoring with 30 points on nine goals and 21 assists in 30 games, while Brubacher has 24 points and
Erik Brown (Keene, Ontario/Kemptville 73's) and
Jake Hamacher (Corona, CA/Dubuque Fighting Saints) have 21 points apiece. Brown has a team-high 13 goals, while Hamacher is right behind with 11. In net,
Logan Drackett (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Canucks) has appeared in 24 games and is 11-12-3 with a 2.59 goals against average and a .911 save percentage.

Robert Morris enters the weekend with a 10-19-1 overall record and is 9-14-1 in league play. Last weekend, the Colonials earned a split at Holy Cross, winning 5-3 on Friday before losing 2-0 Saturday. Alex Tonge leads the Colonials in scoring with 28 points on 13 goals and 15 assists. Luke Lynch and Eric Israel also have 15 helpers apiece. Francis Marotte has played all 30 games in net and has a 3.04 goals against average and a .901 save percentage.

Robert Morris has appeared in three straight AHA Championship games.

RIT leads the all-time series between the two schools, 14-13-4. This weekend marks the third and fourth meetings of the season between RIT and Robert Morris. On Oct. 26, Marotte made 25 saves to lead Robert Morris to a 3-0 win. The next night,
Gabe Valenzuela (Brampton, Ontario/North York Rangers) scored with 30 seconds left in overtime to lift RIT to a dramatic 2-1 victory at Robert Morris.

stream live with Gene Battaglia and John DiTullio on the call from the Polisseni Center. The pregame show with host Kevin Roche airs both nights at 6:30 p.m. In addition, both contests will be aired on
