Jessi O'Leary (Woodstock, New Brunswick/Notre Dame Hounds) totaled 34 saves, but it was host Colgate earning a 2-0 shutout over the Tigers, Tuesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Colgate (9-6-3) got on the board following an early Tiger penalty in the first period. Tanner Gates scored a power-play goal with 14:40 on the clock, assisted by Danielle Serdachny and Malia Schneider.
- The Raiders made it a two-goal game after Darcie Lappan re-directed a shot by Sydney Bard with 2:09 remaining in the first period.
GAME NOTES
- O'Leary held Colgate scoreless over the final 42:09 of play, including 14 saves in the second period and 12 in the third.
- Colgate finished the game with a 36-16 advantage in shots.
