ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT women's hockey team hosts Boston University its final two games of the 2018 calendar year from the Gene Polisseni Center on Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 8. Friday's game starts at 2 p.m., while Saturday's contest begins at 12 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults, and $3 for youth. Admission is free for all RIT faculty, staff, alumni and students (one ticket per valid ID). Tickets are available at the Gene Polisseni Center Box Office, by calling (585) 475-4121 or by visiting

The Tigers (5-8-4, 3-4-0 CHA) are coming off a weekend sweep over College Hockey America foe Lindenwood University. RIT won 5-2 on Friday and 3-2 Saturday.
Taylor Baker (Toronto, Ontario/North Toronto Collegiate Institute) had a career-best three assists in Friday's win, while
Kathryn Kennedy (Hamilton, Ontario/),
Tori Haywood (Pickering, Ontario/St. Mary's Catholic),
Brittney Gout (Caledon, Ontario/Brampton Canadettes),
Hunter Barnett (Caledon, Ontario/Mississauga Jr. Chiefs) and
Mallory Rushton (Amherst, Nova Scotia/New Hampton Prep) also scored. On Saturday,
Ellie Larson (Hutchinson, MN/Hutchinson Tigers) scored twice, while Barnett also tallied to lead the Tigers. Goaltender
Terra Lanteigne (Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia/Charles P. Allen) made 43 saves on 47 shots against in the two wins.
Senior assistant captain
Kendall Cornine (Kinnelon, NJ/Morristown Beard) leads the team in scoring with 13 points on eight goals and five assists, while
Brittney Gout (Caledon, Ontario/Brampton Canadettes) has a team-best eight assists and is second with 11 points. Larson has 10 points, while Baker and Rushton have nine apiece. Lanteigne leads all of Division I with 557 saves and is seventh with a .939 save percentage. She also has a 2.10 goals against average, while playing in all 17 games.
Boston University, a member of Hockey East, enters the weekend series with a 6-4-4 overall record and is 5-4-4 in league play. The Terriers were in action last weekend, earning a sweep over rival Boston College, 3-2 on Friday and 4-2 Saturday. Boston University has won three straight games and is 5-1-1 over its last seven contests. Jesse Compher leads BU in scoring and is eighth nationally with 24 points on nine goals and 15 assists in 14 games. Sammy Davis is right behind with 20 points on eight goals and 12 assists. Corrine Schroeder is 4-4-0 in net with a 2.20 goals against average and a .925 save percentage.
The all-time series between the two schools even at a win apiece. RIT and BU met in Boston last season, splitting a pair of games. Lanteigne made 50 saves in RIT's 2-1 overtime win over the Terriers. Rushton scored on a penalty shot just 24 seconds into overtime.
