ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT women's hockey team travels west to face Bemidji State University for a pair of games on Friday. Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9. Both games from the Sanford Center get underway at 4:07 EST.
RIT (4-12-2, 1-7-0 CHA) is looking to get back into the win column after dropping a pair of home games to College Hockey America foe Penn State last weekend.
Kandice Sheriff (Brampton, Ontario/) leads the Tigers in scoring this season with 10 points on three goals and seven assists.
Kendall Cornine (Kinnelon, NJ/Morristown Beard) has a team-best five goals.
Terra Lanteigne (Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia/Charles P. Allen) is 3-7-1 with a 3.42 goals against average and a .919 save percentage
Bemidji State enters the weekend with a 6-10-2 record, including a 4-7-1 mark in WCHA play. Last weekend, the Beavers split a weekend series at nationally-ranked Minnesota, falling 3-2 in overtime on Friday, while rebounding to win 4-2 on Saturday. Emma Terres and Clair DeGeorge are tied for the team lead in scoring with 11 points apiece. Seven different Beavers have between eight and 11 points. In net, Erin Deters is 3-6-2 with a 2.25 goals against average and a .920 save percentage.
The two teams met last season at the Gene Polisseni Center with Bemidji State coming away with 3-1 and 5-1 victories.
Claudia Black (Newmarket, Ontario/St. Maximilian Kobe) scored RIT's lone goal in the opener, while
Kathryn Kennedy (Hamilton, Ontario/) tallied for the Tigers in game two.

Next weekend, RIT plays its final two games of the 2017 calendar year at Union College. The Tigers are back home at the Gene Polisseni Center to take on Robert Morris University Jan. 19-20, 2018.
