ROCHESTER, NY - Senior Jess Calzolari (Longmont, CO/Mead) of the RIT women's track and field team, was named the Liberty League Indoor Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, for the week ending Dec. 4, 2016. It is Calzolari's first weekly honor of her collegiate career.

Calzolari was second out of eight competitors in the pentathlon with a score of 2,940 points at the Brockport Green vs. Gold Alumni Multi-Meet on Friday evening from the Brockport Special Events and Recreation Center. She won the long jump in the event with a leap of 5.16 meters and took the high jump with a leap of 1.55 meters.

RIT is right back in action Thursday, as they host the 2016 RIT Early Season Invitational from the Gordon Field House that starts at 4 p.m.
