ROCHESTER, NY - Senior Myles Garner (Gurnee, IL/Warren Township) and sophomore Zach Darling (Rome, PA/Northeast Bradford) of the RIT men's track and field team, were named the Liberty League Track and Field performers of the week on Monday, for the week ending Dec. 11, 2016. It is the first weekly honor for both student-athletes.

Garner won the 60-meter hurdles in an ECAC qualifying time of 8.42 seconds at the RIT Early Season Invitational on Thursday night from the Gordon Field House.

Darling was victorious in the weight throw with a toss of 14.62 meters, while finishing third in the shot put with a throw of 12.71 meters at the Early Season Invite on Thursday.

The Tigers are off until Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, when they host the RIT Invitational from the Gordon Field House. That meet will begin at 10 a.m.
