Biography
2016-17: competed in multiple indoor and outdoor throwing events … set a career best of 46.63 in the hammer throw at the Bison Outdoor Classic … finished in the top ten in fourteen events and top five in eight events … named to Liberty League Spring All-Academic team
2015-16: Competed in several field events during the indoor and outdoor season … recorded a career-best seventh place finish in the hammer throw at the Liberty League Outdoor Track & Field Championships … set personal bests in shot put (12.63 meters), discus (35.20 meters), hammer throw (41.51 meters) and weight throw (12.41 meters).
Before RIT: ran at Northeast Bradford Jr./Sr. High School … broke the school record in the shot put, finishing with a career-best 50’5” … broke a meet record in the same event at the Wyalusing Lasagna Invite … was the co-MVP in 2015 … was an all-region selection that same year … also named a junior Olympian for shot put and hammer throw.
Personal: Engineering technology major … son of Bonnie and Frank Darling … has one sibling, Kayla.
