ROCHESTER, NY – Three members of the RIT men's soccer team were selected to the 2016 Liberty League Men's Soccer All-Conference team on Tuesday, Nov. 8.  Senior Scott Fishel (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) was a second-team selection. Sophomore Peter Cinibulk (Bellbrook, OH/Bellbrook), and freshman Will Schiesswohl (Sussex, NJ/Vernon Township) were honorable mention picks.

Fishel, a 2015 All-Liberty League Honorable Mention selection, played every minute of all 17 games on defense in 2016. He helped the Tigers defense hold opponents to 1.00 goals per game, including five shut outs. Fishel, a two-time Co-SIDA Academic All-District and a three-time Liberty League All-Academic selection, tallied the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win at Ithaca on Oct. 25.

Cinibulk played in 15 games in net, posting four wins and five shut outs. Cinibulk was sixth in the Liberty League with a 0.95 goals against average, second with 68 saves, eighth with an .810 save percentage. He played in seven Liberty League games posting a 1.30 goals against average and a .756 save percentage.

Schiesswohl, who saw action at center-midfield, played in 14 games his first season at RIT. He saw action in seven Liberty League contests and fired four shots on goal.
 
RIT finished the 2016 season with five wins, including three in Liberty League play.
