Men's Soccer ties Clarkson, 1-1

POTSDAM, N.Y. – RIT senior forward Gavin Culley scored in the Tigers 1-1 draw at Clarkson in Liberty League action, Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • First year midfielder Axel Jackson fired a shot on goal and junior goalkeeper Kristian Dobbek made two saves in a scoreless first half.
  • Clarkson's Bodie Smith scored in the 55th minute to give the Golden Knights a 1-0 lead.
  • Culley tied the game on his goal in the 58th minute. Junior forward Robin Giesing sent a pass into Clarkson's box from the wing that Culley turned into Clarkson's net.
 
GAME NOTES:
  • Clarkson outshot RIT, 9-4.
  • The Tigers had one corner kick to three for the Golden Knights.
  • Dobbek finished with three saves.
