WILLIAMSPORT, NY -- The RIT wrestling team (1-5) dropped a pair of matches at the 2016 NY/PA Duals hosted by Lycoming College on Sunday afternoon. RIT fell to King's College (Pa.), 26-15 in its first match, before losing to Lycoming 32-12. Jake Sepor (Stafford, NY/Pavilion) and Sam Weinger (Blooming Grove, NY/Washingtonville) had good days for the Tigers, each winning a pair of matches.

Versus King's, Sepor picked up his first win of the day, defeating Jake Daniel, 10-3 at 141 lbs. At 149 lbs. Dempsey King (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford) picked up the win, defeating Keegan Williamson with a fall at 1:02. John Donohue (Smithtown, NY/Hauppauge) got the win at 174 lbs., defeating Zachary Smith, 3-0. Weinger defeated Ralph Bernardo 8-4 at 285 lbs.

Versus Lycoming, Sepor defeated Joseph Santomarco, 5-3. Kirkland Feeney (Lockport, NY/Lockport) defeated Matt Neff at 157 lbs. with a fall at 7:12, while Weinger defeated Tom Lynd, 7-4. 

RIT returns to action on January 8-9 when the Tigers compete at the Bud Whitehill Duals hosted by Lycoming College.
