ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Two RIT wrestlers will compete at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa March 13-14.
Senior
Josh Harkless makes his fourth appearance in the NCAA Championships earning All-American honors with a third-place finish at the 2025 championships. He won the 285 lb. division at the NCAA Region 2 Championships, earning Most Outstanding Wrestler honors and is the No. 3 seed heading into the national tournament. Harkless is 42-3 this season, including 31 wins via pinfall. He will face the winner between Mike Welsh (Brockport) and Benjamin Katz (Springfield) in his opening match.
Sophomore
Jack Lamson will compete at the NCAA Championships for the first time. Lamson qualified with a third-place finish at the NCAA Region 2 Championships. He is 22-6 this season including five wins via pinfall and five technical fall victories. Lamson will face Zach Needles (Messiah) in his opening round bout.
