2018-19: Competed in 29 matches at 174 lbs. … posted a 22-7 overall record, including a 10-1 record in dual meets … selected co-captain … won seven matches by pin … finished second at the RIT Invitational and Citrus Open … earned Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference All-Academic Team honors for maintaining at least a 3.30 grade-point average … National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American.
2017-18: Served as one of RIT’s two team captains … advanced to the NCAA Championships at 184 lbs. for the first time … named a National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American … went 26-11 overall and 5-1 in dual matches … notched four wins by pin and seven my major decision … earned a win over Issac Morales of Johns Hopkins in the opening round at the national championship meet … won his weight class at the RIT Invitational, earning five victories, including a 5-2 win over Dan Wensley of WPI in the championship match … won his final four matches, all in the consolation round at the NCAA Mideast Regional to claim third place and qualify for the national championship … defeated Zachary D’Apolito of Scranton in the third place match, 7-4, exacting revenge after the former won in the quarterfinals … went 3-1 at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Championships to claim third place … recorded seven straight wins, Jan. 20 to Feb. 24 … garnered RIT Male Athlete of the Week honors, Dec. 4 … earned ECWC All-Academic Team honors for maintaining at least a 3.30 grade-point average.
2016-17: Was on co-op and did not compete.
2015-16: Won 10 bouts at 165 and 174 lbs. … notched two wins by way of pin, and one major decision … picked up a 6-2 decision over Keonmin Hwang of Wesleyan … took home sixth place at 165 lbs. at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference Championships … went undefeated (3-0) at the Wilkes Quad Meet.
Before RIT: Wrestled four years of varsity at Atlantic City High School … three-year captain … two-time school MVP … two-time district place winner … region eight finalist and all-star 2014 … NJSIAA state qualifier … named to the Cape Atlantic League first team 2014 … first team all-press in 2013 and 2014 … MAWA district champion in 2014 ...
