RIT has an impeccable 127-64-29 mark in AHA play since joining the league at the start of the 2006-07 season. The Tigers are the last AHA team to play a conference game.
Air Force comes into this weekend with a 1-3-0 record, 1-1-0 in Atlantic Hockey play. In net, Chris Truehl has played in all four games, recording a 3.07 goals against average and .872 save percentage.
Air Force leads the all-time series between the two schools, 21-16-3. The teams met in the 2011 and 2012 AHA Championship games and combined to win the last six of the last eight league titles. Since the start of the 2005-06 season, RIT is 13-19-3 against Air Force. Air Force went 2-1-0 against RIT last season.
In nine trips to Air Force since 2005, the Tigers are 0-9 on the first night or lone game of the weekend series and 3-11-2 overall. RIT has fared much better on the second night, going 3-2-2.
