Biography

Career: RIT’s all-time leader at the Division I level in games played (94), minutes played (5,503) and saves (2,355) … second all-time with 40 wins … third with six shutouts and 2.67 goals against average … has .906 save percentage, fifth best at RIT.

2016-17: Played in 36 games, second most all-time in one season at the Division I level … recorded 14 wins and made 840 saves … his 840 saves are fifth most in one season at RIT … recorded a 2.6 goals against average and an .899 save percentage … won five straight starts, Nov. 18 to Dec. 3 … allowed two or fewer goals in a game 17 times … made 22 saves in a 5-0 shutout win over American International … stopped all 19 shots he faced in a 5-0 victory over Niagara in game two of the Atlantic Hockey First Round series … stopped season-high 39 shots against Providence … made a 38 saves on 40 shots in a 3-1 loss at Robert Morris … made 34 saves on 35 shots in a 4-1 win the night before … stopped at least 30 shots in a game six times … won two overtime contests against Army West Point and Holy Cross … had two assists, one in the season-opening 6-3 win over Robert and in game one of the Atlantic Hockey First Round series against Niagara … went 13-14-0 with a 2.63 goals against average and a .901 save percentage in Atlantic Hockey play … earned Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team honors. 2014-15: Played in 17 games, recording a 9-6-1 record to go along with a 2.51 goals against average and .908 save percentage … two-time Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Week (Feb. 3, March 3) … enjoyed an incredible run over his last 10 games, going 8-1-1 with a 1.90 goals against average and .924 save percentage … went 9-3-1 in Atlantic Hockey play with a 2.26 goals against average and .909 save percentage … stopped all 25 shots he faced for his lone shutout of the season, 8-0 over Mercyhurst … recorded his first collegiate point, an assist on Myles Powell’s overtime winner in the regular season finale over Mercyhurst … stopped a career-high 46 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss at nationally-ranked Minnesota in the Mariucci Classic … made 30 saves in a 5-2 win over Bentley … stopped 29 shots in a 2-0 loss at NCAA Tournament team Yale. 2013-14: Enjoyed an excellent rookie season … emerged as RIT’s starting goaltender … played in 22 games, going 9-9-3 with a 2.77 goals against average and .912 save percentage with a pair of shutouts … set RIT records by winning his first five starts and going undefeated over his first six contests (5-0-1) … three-time Atlantic Hockey Association Goaltender of the Week, Dec. 3, Dec. 17, and March 4 … made his collegiate debut a winning one, stopping 26 shots in a 6-4 victory over St. Lawrence … recorded his first collegiate shutout, stopping all 38 shots he faced in a 4-0 win over Sacred Heart … made a season-high 40 saves in a 2-2 tie against Robert Morris … stopped at least 30 shots in a game eight times … recorded his second shutout, stopping all 26 shots he faced in a 1-0 win at Canisius … made 26 saves in the final game at Ritter Arena, a 3-1 win over Canisius … started RIT’s final seven games … stopped 34 of 36 shots and was named the game’s first star in RIT’s 2-2 tie against Niagara at the Frozen Frontier at Frontier Field … had a 1.97 goals against average and ,937 save percentage over his first six starts … allowed just five goals and stopped 115 of 120 shots over a four-game stretch, Feb. 22 to March 7 … was 7-7-3 with a 2.64 goals against average and .915 save percentage in 18 AHA contests.
