GENESEO, NY -- The RIT women's swimming and diving team competed against SUNY Geneseo and SUNY New Paltz over the weekend on the campus of SUNY Geneseo. The Tigers fell to Geneseo, 216.5-138.5 and lost to New Paltz, 216-147.

Katie Baldwin (Phelps, NY/Midlakes)#, #
Mariah Lamb (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa)#, #
Kelsey Schaefer (Berea, OH/Berea) and
Alex Timberlake (Churchville, NY/Churchville-Chili)# placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay finishing in a time of 1:44.67.
Baldwin was fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.77).

Brenna Woodling (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville East)#, #
Megan O'Connor (Spring City, PA/Owen J. Roberts)#, Genna Senecal and Baldwin placed third in the 200-yard medley relay in a time of 1:56.16.

Caitlin Foster (Bath, ME/Morse)# placed fifth in the 1,650-yard freestyle (19:55.19) and #
Carol Anderson (Silver Spring, MD/Albert Einstein)# was sixth in a time of 20:00.97.

Sam Huselstein (Olean, NY/Olean)# won the 1-meter diving competition with a final score of 404.92. She took second in the 3-meter diving competition posting a final score of 396.70.
On Saturday, the team of Woodling, O'Connor, Senecal and Baldwin placed third in the 400-yard medley relay in a time of 4:16.97. Woodling posted a win in the 200-yard backstroke (2:18.66) and was sixth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.01).
Baldwin picked up a win in the 50-yard freestyle (25.10) and a second in the 100-yard freestyle (55.46).
The Tigers wrapped up the day with a second place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay. The team of Foster,
Jill Sirkis (Fairless Hills, PA/Pennsbury), Senecal and Lamb came home in a time of 3:54.64.
RIT returns to action on Saturday, January 18 at Hamilton College beginning at 1 p.m.
