ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Eight student-athletes from the RIT men's and women's swimming & diving teams were named 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District ® selections, announced Tuesday.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
For the women's team, the quartet of juniors helped RIT finish fourth at the Liberty League Championships as divers
Gwen Petrie and
McKenna Porter competed at the NCAA Division III Championships. At the national meet, Petrie earned Second Team All-America honors in both diving events, finishing 12th on 1-meter and 16th on 3-meter.
The men's team took second place at the Liberty League after finishing 5-2 in dual meets this season.
