OSWEGO, NY - The RIT women's swimming and diving team (1-1) recorded its first dual meet victory of the 2013-14 season, cruising to a 154-74 victory over Oswego State on Wednesday evening. RIT won nine individual events and one relay race.

Megan O'Connor (Spring City, PA/Owen J. Roberts)#, Genna Senecal, and #
Katie Baldwin (Phelps, NY/Midlakes)# opened the evening by winning in a time of 1:55.81.
Woodling continued her strong start to the season, winning the 200-yard freestyle by two seconds in a time of 2:05.15, and the 100-backstroke over teammate #
Shavon McGlynn (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford)# by just under four seconds in 1:02.82.
Baldwin won both the 50- and 100-freestyle on the evening. She took the 50-free in 25.22 seconds and then won the 100-free in 56.19 seconds.

Caitlin Foster (Bath, ME/Morse)# made it a clean sweep for RIT in the freestyle event, winning the 500-free by six seonds over teammate #
Carol Anderson (Silver Spring, MD/Albert Einstein)# in 5:46.70 and 1,000-free by just under eight seconds in 11:42.67.

Sam Huselstein (Olean, NY/Olean)# easily won both the 1- and 3-meter diving events. She took the 1-meter with a score of 228.85, then annexed the 3-meter with a score of 214.05. RIT's #
Patsy Hayes (San Jose, CA/Abraham Lincoln)# was second in the 1-meter, while #
Lori Liebman (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Lakeland)# placed second in the 3-meter.
Senecal, the reigning Liberty League Rookie of the Week, won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:18.97.
RIT is back in action on Friday, Nov. 1, with a dual meet at Alfred University that gets underway at 6 p.m.
