ROCHESTER, NY -
The RIT men's swimming and diving squad moved to 4-0 in dual meets this season after cruising to a convincing 131-66 win on Saturday afternoon at Judson Pool. The Tigers won seven events on the afternoon and had several top-three finishes.

RIT opened the afternoon with a win in the 400-yard medley relay, as Scott Matchett (Rochester, NY/Brighton), Alex Madar (Suffern, NY/Suffern), Ryan Brannan (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena), and Cory Deacon (Scottsville, NY/Wheatland-Chili) were victorious by just under five seconds in a time of 3:46.88.

John Tellgren (Anoka, MN/Anoka) swept both diving events, winning the 3-meter event in 281.30 over teammates Billy Werksman (Liverpool, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) and Matt DePalo (Franklin, MA/Xaverian Brothers), then taking the 1-meter in 239.25 despite it being an exhibition.

Matt Berus (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville North) won the 200-free over Matchett by just over a second in 1:53.67.

Cory Deacon (Scottsville, NY/Wheatland-Chili) defeated Brannan by nine-hundredths of a second and Scott Farrell (Buffalo, NY/North Tonawanda) by 16 hundredths in a snappy time of 22.36 seconds.

Matchett took the 200-yard backstroke in 2:04.17 by four seconds, while Farrell won the 100-free over Derek Brown (Canisteo, NY/Canisteo-Greenwood) and Corey Price (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) in 49.49. Justin Morris (Marlborough, MA/Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School) defeated Berus by five seconds in the 200-fly in 2:08.08.

The Tigers are back in action on Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, as they host the 2012-13 Liberty League Championships at Judson Pool.
