ELMIRA, NY -- The RIT men's tennis team picked up their fourth straight win, defeating Elmira College, 8-1 on Saturday afternoon. The win improves the Tigers to 5-3 on the season and 5-1 in Empire 8 play.

In singles, five of the six RIT players won. Tennyson Will Abisalih (Merrimac, MA/Phillips Exeter Academy) picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win at second singles. Neville Billimoria was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at third singles, while Larry Hall (Fairport, NY/Fairport) dominated at fourth singles with a 6-2, 6-1 win.

Max Bogue (Colchester, VT/Colchester) picked up a 3-6, 6-2, 10-7 win at fifth singes. Alex Russin (Rochester, NY/Brighton) won at sixth singles by scores of 6-4, 6-0.

In doubles action, Tennyson Saucedo (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) and Abisalih were 8-1 winners at the first position, Billimoria and Hall were 8-1 winners in the second spot, and the team of Bogue and Amos Baptiste (Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) were 8-2 winners in the third spot.

The Tigers are back in action on Sunday, April 17 against another Empire 8 foe, Stevens. The match gets underway at 1 p.m. in Hoboken, New Jersey.
