ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT men's hockey team crosses a pair of time zones to face the Air Force Falcons in a single Atlantic Hockey Association contest on Sunday, November 7 at 8:05 p.m.

RIT (2-4-1, 1-0-0 AHA) comes into Sunday's contest riding a two-game winning streak. Last weekend, the Tigers opened AHA play with a dramatic overtime win, 3-2 over Robert Morris, then traveled to ECAC foe Cornell, and beat the No. 14 Big Red, 5-3. Adam Mitchell (Crofton, MD/Baystate Breakers) scored the overtime game-winner, the first of his collegiate career, on Friday, while Adam Hartley (West Vancouver, British Columbia/Surrey Eagles) tallied two goals on Saturday, including the game-winner with 5:46 left, snapping a 3-3 tie.

Andrew Favot (King City, Ontario/) leads the Tigers in scoring with eight points on two goals and six assists. He is just five points away from becoming the third Tiger at the Division I level to surpass 100 for his career. Tyler Brenner (Linwood, Ontario/) leads the squad with five goals to go along with two assists, while Hartley has four goals and three helpers. Both Shane Madolora (Salinas, CA/) and Jan Ropponen (Espoo, Finland/) earned victories in net last weekend. Ropponen's win over Cornell was the first of his collegiate career.

RIT is receiving six votes in the current USCHO.com Division I national poll. The Tigers are a remarkable 64-6-7 when allowing less than three goals in a game since the start of the 2006-07 season.

Air Force (1-4-0, 1-2-0 AHA) plays Mercyhurst on Friday evening before hosting the Tigers. Two weekends ago, the Falcons split a home series against American International, losing the first game, 5-3, before rebounding to crush the Yellowjackets, 12-0. 2009 Hobey Baker Award finalist Jacques Lamoureux leads the team in scoring with eight points on three goals and five assists. John Kruse is right behind with three goals and four assists. In net, Jason Torf has started three games, but Stephen Caple has Air Force's lone win.

The all-time series between the two schools is knotted at 12-12-2. It will be the 22nd meeting between the two schools since the start of the 2005-06 season. Last year, the Tigers and Falcons split four games against each other, with each team winning twice on its home ice. RIT is just 2-6-2 at Cadet Ice Arena since 2005.
