UTICA, NY - The RIT baseball team (11-18. 5-5 Empire 8)split a doubleheader at Utica (4-16, 1-7 Empire 8) on Saturday afternoon. Utica won game one 7-6 before RIT took game two, 3-2. RIT Head Coach
Rob Grow won his 299th career game and will go for number 300 on Sunday.
In game one, Andrew Diaz drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning. RIT took a 6-5 lead in the top of the seventh inning as
Dave Kernan (North Syracuse, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) (Liverpool, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) drove in a pair of runs on a fielders choice.
