KEUKA PARK, NY -
Senior Matt George (Walton, NY/Walton) (Walton, NY/Walton) broke three different records on Tuesday, as the RIT baseball team (18-12, 7-5 Empire 8) scored 27 runs in two games to sweep Keuka by scores of 13-1 and 14-3.  RIT has now won 12-of-13 games.

George went 3-for-7 on the afternoon with five runs scored, three RBIs and three stolen bases.  George now has 22 stolen bases on the year, breaking his season record of 20, set last season.  He stole his 43rd career base in game two, breaking the previous mark of 42 held by Troy McBride '94.  George now has 41 runs scored in just 30 games this season, also a school record.

In game one, the Tigers scored six runs in the top of the second inning and never looked back. 

RIT's top five hitters in the lineup combined to go 11-for-24 with 10 runs scored and 11 RBIs.  George, the lead-off hitter was 2-for-5 with three runs scored and a pair of runs batted in.  Geoff Dornes (Landisville, PA/Hempfiled) (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield) was 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored and two RBIs.  Jeremy Tosh (Woodbine, MD/Glenelg) (Woodbine, MD/Glenelg), batting third, had three hits, three RBIs and a pair of runs scored.  Cleanup hitter Ryan Tryt (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) went 2-for-4 with a double, triple, three runs batted in and a pair of runs scored.  Matt Austin (Weedsport, NY/Weedsport) (Weedsport, NY/Weedsport) added two hits, a run scored and RBI, hitting fifth.

Mike Marsillo (Scottsdale, AZ/Desert Mountain) (Scottsdale, AZ/Desert Mountain) did not allow an earned run in six innings of work, striking out four to garner his third win of the year.  Tom Piscitell (Syracuse, NY/Westhill) pitched a scoreless seventh inning,

The Tiger bats stayed hot in game two, slamming 15 more hits.  RIT's big inning came in the seventh, when they put up seven runs.

Tryt was 3-for-5 with a single, double, triple, three RBIs and a pair of runs scored, raising his batting average to a team-best .390 on the year.   Raffaele Parisi (Rochester, NY/Aquinas) (Rochester, NY/Aquinas) drove in three runs with three singles.  Sophomore catcher Josh Rodems (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and a pair of doubles.

Steve Cline (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) drove in two runs.  Dornes added his third home run of the season and drove in two runs.

Senior Paul Schoeneck (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) picked up his second win of the season, earning the starting nod.  He allowed two earned runs over five innings of work.  Rory Camardello (Brighton, NY/Brighton) (Rochester, NY/Brighton) pitched the final two scoreless innings.

The Tigers are back in action on Saturday, as they host Empire 8 foe St. John Fisher in a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m.
