2007: Became RIT’s first ever Academic All-American as he garnered All-COSIDA/ESPN The Magazine second team national honors … was also a COSIDA/ESPN The Magazine first team all-region selection … All-Empire 8 first team selection … ABCA/Rawlings All-New York Region second team selection … led team with 27 RBI, 19 walks, 10 doubles and two home runs … his 10 doubles are tied for the 10th most in a season at RIT … started the season with two hits in each of his first three games … scored a career-best three runs in a wild 15-11 win over Wartburg … recorded a 12-game hitting streak, April 21 to May 5 … hit .452 (19-for-42) with 12 runs scored and nine RBI during that streak … hit a two-out, two-strike game-tying three-run home run, his first as a Tiger in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie SUNY Brockport at 7 and help the Tigers win the game in 10 innings … was 3-for-5 with a double, triple, home run and career-high seven RBI in a 14-11 win over Keuka … earned RIT, RACA and Empire 8 weekly honors … named to the Empire 8 President’s List for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average.

2006: Played in 23 games, starting 20 … showed a propensity to pick up clutch hits … broke a scoreless tie with a bases-clearing double in the sixth-inning, leading RIT to a blanking of St. John Fisher … went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and five RBI in a win over Hartwick … had a season-high three hits and scored two runs in a win over Ithaca … drove in five runs in two ECAC playoff games … drove in 17 runs, while scoring 15 … recorded six multiple-hit games.

Before RIT: Played varsity baseball at G. Ray Bodley High School … earned first-team All-Onondaga honors as a junior and senior … team MVP … senior captain ... transferred from Ithaca, where he had a hit in his only at-bat in 2005.
