2007: Enjoyed one of the best rookie seasons ever by a RIT baseball player … named the Empire 8 Player and Rookie of the Year … Rochester Area College Athletics Player of the Year … earned ABCA/Rawlings All-New York Region second team honors … 57 hits were second most in one season at RIT … .535 on-base percentage third All-time at RIT … .452 on-base percentage fourth, 35 runs tied for sixth, 71 total bases sixth and four triples tied for eighth in one-season at RIT … two-time RIT Male Athlete of the Week … opened the season with a .577 average in Arizona (15-for-26) … had an 18-game hitting streak from April 20 to May 8 … was 32-for-61 for a .525 average during that span with 20 runs scored and 16 RBI … tied for the team-lead with 19 walks … had a season-high four hits twice … scored three runs against Rockford … had a hit in 31-of-36 games … recorded 17 multiple-hit games … stole seven bases … was 2-3 on the mound with a 3.21 earned run average, and 18 strikeouts to just four walks in 28 1/3 innings … pitched six innings, allowing five hits and zero earned runs to go along with nine strikeouts in a 9-3 win over Hilbert.
