Biography

2007: Missed entire season due to injury.

2006: Enjoyed tremendous offensive season … played in 38 games … made 37 starts, primarily at third base and designated hitter … earned All-Empire 8 first team honors … ABCA/Rawlings All-New York Region second team selection … tied for the team lead with 32 RBI and five stolen bases … moved into the top-10 all-time in a single-season at RIT in the following categories … 53 hits (third), 36 runs scored (fourth), 32 RBI (fourth), 73 total bases (fifth), .503 on-base percentage (seventh) … started the season by hitting .583 (14-for-24) in Arizona … was 3-for-3 with three runs scored, two walks, two doubles and first collegiate home run in a 10-5 win over Rochester … went 14-for-26 (.538) with 18 RBI and 11 runs scored during a six-game tear, April 29 to May 9 … also hit home runs in wins over SUNY Brockport and Medaille … had eight RBI in a doubleheader sweep over Hartwick … followed that up with six RBI in two wins over Keuka … reached base safely in 34 games … had 18 multiple-hit games … earned RIT, RACA and Empire 8 weekly honors.

2005: Appeared in nine games as a pitcher and hurled 10 innings … pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings against SUNY Brockport … pitched two-thirds of a scoreless inning, holding an 8-6 win versus Rose Hulman.

Before RIT: Played varsity baseball at Glenelg High School … senior captain … also played varsity hockey.

Personal: Electrical engineering major … son of Donna and Mike Tosh.
