ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT men's swimming/diving team defeated St. Lawrence University 173-117 on Saturday afternoon at Judson Pool.
RIT got off to a great start with a win in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of #
Kevin Christiansen (Penfield, NY/Penfield)# (Penfield, NY),
AJ Broderick (Fonda, NY/Fonda-Fultonville) (Fonda, NY/Fonda-Fultonville),
Greg Pilgrim (Almond, NY/Alfred-Almond) (Almond, NY/Alfred-Almond) and
Casey Schneider (Grandville, MI/Grandville) (Grandville, MI) won in a time of 1:42.97.
Steve Rois (Amherst, NY/Amherst) (Amherst, NY), #
Phil Baudoin (Blacksburg, VA/Blacksburg)# (Blacksburg, VA) and
Ryan Marchant (Norwich, NY/Norwich) (Norwich, NY) were one-two-three in the 200-yard frestyle to pad the RIT lead. Rois won in a time of 1:48.27.

Steve Janicki# (Pittsford, NY/McQuaid) were one-two-three in the 50-yard freestyle, posting 16 points for the Tigers overall score. Schneider won in a time of 22.26.

Casey Burns (Kings Ferry, NY/Southern Cayuga) (Kings Ferry, NY/Southern Cayuga) went one-two-three in the 100-yard freestyle, putting the meet away for RIT. Baudoin won with a time of 50.60.
In the 100-yard butterfly Baudoin,
Dan Klaus (Frankford, NJ/High Point) (Frankford, NJ/High Point) and Pilgrim went one-two-three with Baudoin winnning in a time of 53.30.
