Hobey Baker Award Nominee
AHA Third-Team All-Conference
• Finished the regular season tied for fourth nationally with 27 assists and tied for 15th with a career-high 36 points. 
• Also led the AHA in assists and assists per games (0.79) while tying for seventh with 1.06  points per game, including at least one point in all but 11 games during the year.
• Logged a six-point series versus Mercyhurst, tying a career-high with four points (1G/3A) in the 6-3 win (Feb. 22) after compiling a goal, an assist and a career-high 21 face-off wins in the 3-2 (Feb. 21) win .
• Notched a career-high four assists in the 6-2 win at Bentley (Nov. 9)
• Scored a goal and an assist in back-to-back games versus Army (Nov. 16) and Sacred Heart (Nov. 22) before adding two assists opposite Air Force (Feb. 1) for one of his team-high nine multi-point games this winter. 
• Ended the regular season third nationally with 407 faceoff victories while winning 56.0 percent of his draws.
• Won 18-of-31 faceoffs versus Robert Morris at home in December and also won 13-of-15 draws (.867) in the New Hampshire opener for two of his 26 total games with double-digit victories.

• Finished seventh on the squad with 28 points in 39 games played.
• Fifth with 19 assists to go along with nine goals.
• Third for the Tigers with 262 face-off wins and fourth with a +19 plus-minus.
• Named to Atlantic Hockey All-Tournament Team after totaling four goals and four assists during Tigers’ five-game unbeaten run to the championship.
• Scored a goal in his first collegiate appearance during 4-3 setback at St. Lawrence (Oct. 7).
• Two assists and season-high 13-of-17 faceoff wins in 5-2 win at Mercyhurst (Nov. 10).
• Goal and an assist in 5-4 win over New Hampshire (Nov. 24)
• Game-winning goals in 6-2 win vs. Robert Morris (Dec. 2) and 4-2 win vs. Lake Superior State (Dec. 30).
• Career-high three points on a goal and two assists along with nine face-off wins in 6-3 win at Robert Morris (Jan. 19).
• Logged three assists in 9-2 win over Canisius (Feb. 23) to start a six-game point-scoring streak.
• Two goals and an assist in 7-0 shutout vs. Robert Morris (Mar. 8), before adding the GWG and two assists to 5-1 victory over the Colonials (Mar. 9) to open Atlantic Hockey postseason.
• Goal and 12-of-17 FO wins in 5-2 win over Niagara in AHA Semifinal opener (Mar. 16).
• Assist in 5-2 win over AIC (Mar. 23) in AHA Championship game.

BEFORE RIT
• Voted 2023 OJHL MVP after leading the league with 35 goals, 70 assists and 105 points in 53 appearances with the Toronto Junior Canadiens, also landing first-team all-star and Most Gentlemanly Player honors.
• Jr. Canadiens finished with a 45-5-2 record while winning second-straight Brant Snow Memorial Trophy
• Also voted a first-team all-star during his rookie year, leading the league with 67 assists and finishing third with 88 points.
• Played for the Jr. Canadiens with current RIT teammates Tyler Fukakusa and Christian Catalano 
• Attended Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary

PERSONAL
• Tyler Robert Teruo Fukakusa was born in Mississauga, Ont.
•  Son of Diana and Robert Fukakusa; has an older sister (Bianca) and two younger brothers (Ryan, Keanu)
• Enjoys golfing, fishing and playing pickle ball in his spare time.
• Best advice he's received, "It is a marathon, not a sprint - put your head down and work. Things don't always go your way in the short term, but you can control what happens in the long term."
• Lists Jr. Canadiens head coach Vince Bellissimo as having the most influence on his playing career, "He taught me how to be a professional on and off the ice and how to do things the proper way, day-in and day-out."
• Started playing hockey at four years-old after playing with his dad and older brother
• Has worn the #9 his entire career in honor of his dad's birthday
