ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT first-year forward Tyler Fukakusa was named the Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week, Monday.

Fukakusa tallied the Tigers' first goal of the season in Saturday's 4-3 setback at St. Lawrence. 

His second career shot in an RIT sweater tied the score, 1-1, with 2:23 left in the second period. 

RIT hosts Guelph tonight for a 5:00 p.m. exhibition before welcoming Notre Dame to town on Saturday for the Brick City Homecomeing and Family Weekend game at Blue Cross Arena.
