ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT Women's Volleyball team received the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.
 
The Tigers were honored for the ninth time the last 10 seasons for maintaining better than a 3.30 team grade point average.

RIT has won the award 17 times since 2003 – tied for the 50th-highest total out of the 377 NCAA Division III programs recognized.
 
Over 1,400 teams across the NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, junior college and high school levels were recognized on the list.
