ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The RIT men's track & field team hosted a home meet with teams competing from Rochester, Roberts Wesleyan, and Geneseo at the RIT Track & Field Complex, Friday.
On the track, first-year sprinter
Cameron Krein won the 200m (22.12) and placed third in the 100m (10.90). Both times are AARTFC qualifying results.
In the 100m Hurdles, first-year
Naashon Calliens won the event with an AARTFC qualifying time of 15.05 seconds.
In the field events, senior Erick Stephany took first place in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 56.06m as junior Elliot Walter won the discus with a throw of 47.69m.
In addition to the home meet, the RIT 4x400m Relay team of John Ellior,
Ryan Senf,
Trenton Goyette, and
Jack DeFeo placed 13th out of 27 teams at the Penn Relays. The team finished in 3:14.61, which is the third fastest time in program history and the fastest time this season.
