UTICA, N.Y. – The RIT men's track & field team competed at the Utica Blue & Orange Invitational & Multi, held Friday and Saturday at the Hutton Sports & Recreation Center.
First-year
Jack Silvis led the Tigers in the field events, winning the pole vault with a clearance of 4.45 meters, an AARTFC qualifying mark. Fellow first-year
Cooper Bradley recorded a strong second-place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.93 meters.
On the track, senior
Ryan Senf placed fourth in the 400m in 50.71, while sophomore
Trevor Krukin finished fifth in 50.72. Sophomore
Lucas Tartanella placed eighth in the 800m with a time of 2:00.26.
In the throws, senior Dean Bartles finished 11th in the shot put (13.44m).
First-year
Dominic Davis competed in the heptathlon, finishing fifth overall with 4,358 points.
