Men’s Basketball falls to St. Lawrence, 82-64

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's basketball team fell to St. Lawrence, 82–64, in Liberty League action Saturday afternoon. The Tigers trailed 30–22 at halftime before the Saints pulled away with in the second half, scoring 52 points.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Graduate student forward Josiah Turner scored seven points as the Tigers opened the game with an 11-6 lead.
  • St. Lawrence used a 14–2 run late in the first half to build a 30–19 advantage.
  • The Saints hit 10 three‑pointers in the second half and 16 in the game to extend their lead in the second half.
  • Turner's three‑point play and junior forward Brody Brown's consecutive free throws cut the deficit to 59–39 midway through the second half.
  • St. Lawrence closed the game with a 23–16 run to secure the win.
 
GAME NOTES
  • Turner led RIT with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists.
  • Brown added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists as graduate student forward Jackson Otis chipped in 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting.
  • RIT shot 23-for-52 (44%) from the floor and 5-for-19 (26%) from three-point range.
  • The Tigers won the rebounding battle 37–30.
