PITTSBURGH - The RIT men's rowing team put together a strong showing at the Head of the Ohio Regatta on Saturday, highlighted by three first-place finishes and competitive racing against a field featuring Open, Division I, Division III, and club rowing programs.

The Tigers' first year squads captured first place in both the Frosh/Novice 4+ and Frosh/Novice 8+ events.

RIT also found success in the smaller boats, with the Lightweight Double boat also earning a first-place finish. The Open Double team added another strong result, finishing second among collegiate entries.

In the larger boat events, the Tigers' Open 8+ finished ninth out of 18 crews in a competitive field spanning multiple collegiate divisions and club programs. The Open 4+ rounded out the day's racing with an 18th-place finish among 23 entries.
