GENESEO, N.Y. – The RIT men's track & field team opened the outdoor season at the Bill Q Invitational on Saturday. The meet, originally scheduled to be a home meet, was moved to Geneseo due to unfavorable weather conditions.
Senior thrower
Josh Auler earned a regional qualifying mark in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 49.15m, placing second overall.
In the Javelin, senior
Andrew Bernacki took first place with a regional qualifying mark of 52.54m as sophomore
Keenan Gosselin was second with a throw of 50.46m.
Trenton Goyette, a senior, won the 800m (1:57.98) and sophomore
Sean Graves placed first in the 400m Hurdles (57.39) for RIT.
