ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT senior defender Kyla Bear was named the Atlantic Hockey America Defender of the Week announced by the league Monday. 

Bear scored three goals and blocked a shot to help lead RIT to a sweep at Lindenwood. The senior defender scored a goal and blocked a shot in the Tigers 4-1 win, Friday. She tallied two goals, including the game-winner in OT in RIT's 4-3 win, Saturday.

RIT returns to action on Friday (Feb. 14) against No. 8 Penn State at 3:00 p.m.
