Bellina and Gramlich land Atlantic Hockey weekly honors

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior goalie Sophia Bellina and first year defender Riley Gramlich were honored by Atlantic Hockey America with weekly honors announced Tuesday, November 18. Bellina was named the Goaltender of the Week while Gramlich landed Rookie of the Week accolades.
 
Bellina recorded a 1-1-0 record, a 0.50 goals-against average and a .988 save percentage in two games at Mercyhurst. The senior goalie made a career-high 46 saves in Saturday's 1-0 win at Mercyhurst. It is her second shutout of the season and fourth of her career. Bellina made 36 saves in Friday's 1-0 loss to the Lakers.
 
Gramlich scored the game-winning goal in RIT's 1-0 win at Mercyhurst, Saturday. Gramlich's goal at 8:11 of the third period proved to be the game winner. The first-year defender had a shot on goal and one block in Friday's 1-0 loss.
 
RIT returns to action on Friday (Nov. 21) against No. 6 Penn State at 6:05 p.m.
