ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Two RIT student-athletes were honored by the Liberty League with weekly honors. Junior Sadie Schreiner was named the Women's Track Performer of the Week while first year John Elliot was named the Men's Track & Field Rookie of the Week.

Schreiner set facility and program records in the 200m and 400m events at Brockport's Rust Buster on Friday. Schreiner's times of 24.50 in the 200m and 55.91 in the 400m are currently the top times in Division III as well as being AARTFC qualifying times. 

Elliot posted the top 800m time in the Niagara Region at Brockport's Rust Buster on Friday. Elliot's AARTFC qualifying time of 1:55.73 is currently the 12th-fastest time in Division III.  Elliot's win is his first at the collegiate level and a personal best.
