BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The RIT men's track and field team placed third out of 12 teams at the Brockport Multi and Invitational this weekend.

• First-year Ryan Swenson placed first in the pole vault with a height of 4.30m, followed by junior Noah Koeng in second (4.29m)
• First-year Jacen Mitchell was second in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.81
• Sophomore Josh Bedford placed second in the 600m (1:23.68)
• Sophomore Evan Owens was third in the 1,000m with a time of 2:36.65, followed by first-year Samuel Adamson in fourth (2:40.15)
• Sophomore Erik Stephany earned fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 15.62m, directly followed by graduate student Aidan Hughes in fifth (15.52m), both are Atlantic Region Championship qualifying throws

The Tigers return to action next weekend, where some athletes will partake in Boston University's Valentine Invitational starting Friday (Feb. 9), while the remaining athletes will compete in RIT's second and final Friday meet of the indoor season at 4:00 p.m. in Gordon Field House.
