ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT returns to action this weekend with a home-and-home College Hockey America series at Syracuse on Friday (Dec. 1) at the Gene Polisseni Center, Saturday (Dec. 2).
About RIT
RIT leads the CHA allowing 2.40 goals per game, 255 blocked shots, averaging a league-best 17.00 blocks per game. The Tigers are second in the league in scoring margin (0.3) and penalty killing (78.8%), and third averaging 2.67 goals per game, while winning 49.0 percent (407-of-831) of its face offs.

Kylie Aquaro lead the team and are tied for ninth in the CHA with 12 points apiece. Roland is second in the league averaging 0.47 goals per game and tied for third with seven goals. Aquaro is third in the CHA averaging 0.64 assists per game and tied for fourth with nine assists. Sophomore forward

Sophia Bellina leads the CHA with a 1.84 goals against average and a .941 save percentage. Junior goalie
Sarah Coe is third in the league with a 2.64 GAA and second with a .922 save percentage.
National Rankings
RIT is 17th in Division with 61 assists and tied for 17 in the nation with 40 goals. The Tigers are tied for 16th in scoring defense, allowing 2.67 goals per game, 20th averaging 2.67 goals per contest and 13th with 458 team saves.
Bellina is 11th in Division I with a .833 winning percentage and 16th with a 1.83 goals against average.
Block Party
Four of the top-10 leaders in blocks in the CHA are from RIT. Pickering leads the league with 39 blocks, Tsilemos is third with 32 followed by McCormick in fourth with 30.
Kyla Bear is eighth with 27 blocked shots.
Goal Rush
RIT's seven goals at Robert Morris (Nov. 17) is the most goals the Tigers have scored in a game since RIT tallied nine goals against St. Michael's (Oct. 8, 2022). The five second-period goals are the most goals RIT has scored in a period this season, while the Tigers' scored four power play goals for the first time since 2012 against Adrian.
November to Remember
RIT recorded a 2-2-0 record in November, scoring 13 goals. Roland led the Tigers with four goals and four assists in November, while Alvarez recorded four points. Aquaro finished with three points, while Tsilemos and junior defensewoman
Jessie Burks each had a pair of assists. Bellina, the CHA Goaltender of the Month in November, recorded two wins in November with a 2.34 goals against average and a .937 save percentage.
About Syracuse
Syracuse lost a pair of non-conference games to No. 5 Clarkson, losing 4-1 at Clarkson (Nov. 21) and 5-0 in Syracuse (Nov. 25). Tatum White scored for the Orange in Tuesday's loss, while graduate student goalie
Allie Kelley made 35 saves. Kelley made 42 saves in Saturday's loss.
The Orange are sixth in the CHA averaging 1.88 goals per game and fifth defensively, allowing 3.94 goals per contest. Syracuse leads the CHA converting 11-of-54 (20.4%) of its power plays, while killing off a league-best 52-of-65 (80.0%) of its penalties.

Kate Holmes leads Syracuse with 12 points on four goals and eight assists. She is tied for eighth in the CHA in assists and tied for ninth in the league averaging 0.47 assists per game. Graduate student defensewoman

Syracuse is 31-12-4 all time against RIT, including three wins last season. The Tigers' last win was 5-3 victory on Jan. 24, 2023.
