ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's hockey team hosts No. Minnesota for a pair of non-conference games at the Gene Polisseni Center, Friday and Saturday (Oct. 6-7).
Weekend Recap (RIT at Assumption)
RIT swept a pair of games at Assumption last weekend by scores of 3-2 and 5-1.
Senior forward
Emma Roland scored twice in Saturday's victory. Sophomore forward
Lexi Sung had two assists, while sophomore goalie
Sophia Bellina made 20 saves to notch her first collegiate win.
Sung scored the game-winning goal at 7:42 of the second period in Friday's win. Junior forward

RIT enters the weekend tied for second in the CHA averaging  2.5 goals per game and allowing 1.25 goals per contest. The Tigers lead the league, killing off 12-of-12 penalties and third averaging 3.75 assists per game and 13.75 blocked shots.

Coe leads the CHA with a .956 save percentage. She is second in the league averaging 28.67 saves per game, and third with a 1.26 goals against average.
CHA Weekly Honors
Junior defensewoman
Kyla Bear, Roland and Pickering were named to CHA Weekly Honor Roll. Bear scored the game-winning goal 2:27 into the third period in Saturday's 5-1 win at Assumption. Roland scored two goals in Saturday's win, while Pickering notched her first collegiate point in Friday's 3-2 in.
