TIGER TRACKS
Junior forward Cody Laskosky was named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week after totaling three goals and an assist during the Sacred Heart series. On Friday, he broke a 1-1 tie with a power play goal in the 14th minute of the second period, later assisted what proved to be the game-winning goal with 2:01 left in the second and tacked on an empty-net goal to seal the win. The following night, he pulled the Tigers within one, 3-2, with under eight minutes left in regulation before the Pioneers tacked on a pair of empty-net goals in the final minutes.

Junior goaltender Tommy Scarfone made 26 saves in Friday's victory for his second-straight win. Grad transfer Luke Lush totaled 27 saves on Saturday during his first appearance in a Tiger sweater – opposite his old team. He played at Sacred Heart the previous four years, making 56 starts and compiling a 2.71 GAA and .901 save percentage.

QUICK HITS
Junior forward Carter Wilkie notched his 30th career goal and 45th career assist in Friday's victory, converting the Tigers' first penalty shot since January of 2021. He also added an assist on Saturday and has scored at least one point in all four games this season.

RIT killed all six penalties it faced during the Sacred Heart series and has now killed 14-straight. The Tigers have only allowed one goal on 18 opponent power play attempts this season, letting up one of six extra-man attempts in the season-opener at St. Lawrence. RIT finished second nationally a season ago with a .873 penalty killing percentage (158-181).

RIT leads the all-time series versus Holy Cross during its Division I era with a 32-15-8 record, including a 4-3 record in seven meetings last season. RIT swept the visiting Crusaders, 5-2 and 3-2 (OT) on Oct. 28-29, before splitting two games in Worcester (W 4-3, L 4-3 OT) in January. The Crusaders then took two out of three games in last year's Atlantic Hockey Tournament Semifinals, knocking the top-seeded Tigers out with a 5-1 win in the deciding game-three at the Polisseni Center.

Junior forward Grady Hobbs notched his first goal of the season and his 30th career points in Saturday's setback.

First-year forward Kevin Scott assisted Laskosky's goal on Saturday for his first collegiate point while first-year forwards Christian Catalano and Matthew Wilde were each credited with assists in Friday's win for their first RIT points.

Fifth-year defenseman Gianfranco Cassaro's second-period tally last Friday night proved to be the game-winner. Cassaro has notched four game-winning tallies during his RIT career, including two this season after also opening the Tigers' 3-0 shutout of Notre Dame with a power play goal.
