ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's hockey team will host St. Lawrence on Tuesday, January 17 at 6:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Sophomore forward Athena Vasdani scored in the third period Saturday in the Tigers 2-2 tie at No. 12 Penn State. She tied the game off an assist from graduate student Amy Dobson at 11:04 that tied the game. Sophomore forward Jordyn Bear scored at 11:55 of the first to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead. Sophomore goalie Sarah Coe made a season-high 39 saves for RIT.
 
Junior forward Lindsay Maloney and Jordyn Bear scored her first collegiate goal in the Tigers 4-2 loss, Friday. Coe made 34 saves in net.
 
ABOUT RIT
RIT enters the weekend fifth in the CHA averaging 1.52 goals per game and are fourth defensively, allowing 3.35 goals per contest. The Tigers are tied for 12th nationally and second in the league averaging 7:05 penalty minutes per game. RIT is second in the CA averaging 13.78 blocked shots, fourth converting 12.1 percent (8-of-66) power play chances and stopping its opponents power play 79.2 (61-of-77) percent of the time.
 
Sophomore forward Kylie Aquaro leads the team with nine points and eight assists. Dobson, Maloney and Vasdani are tied for second on the team with eight points apiece. Maloney is third in the CHA with 222 face-off wins, while Dobson is eighth in the league averaging 3.04 shots per game.
 
Sophomore defensewoman Kyla Bear is fourth in the league with 41 blocked shots, while sophomore forward Megan McCormick and junior defensewoman Bailey Kehl are tied for sixth with 34 blocks. First-year forward Lexi Sung is tenth in the league winning 50.8 percent of her face-offs.
 
The Tigers are second in the CHA with 731 team saves, averaging 41.78 saves per contest. Coe is fourth in the league with a 3.23 goals against average, and a .904 save percentage.

CHA WEEKLY HONORS
Coe was the CHA goaltender of the week, Jan. 16, while Kyla Bear was named CHA Defender of the Week on November 25. Aquaro was the CHA Player of the Week, and first-year forward Ella Fesette was named the league's Rookie of the Week on October 10. Coe and junior forward Chloe McNeil were CHA weekly honorable mention selections.

ABOUT ST. LAWRENCE
Senior goalie Lucy Morgan made 22 saves in Saturday's 2-0 loss at RPI. She made 18 saves in Friday's 3-0 win at Union. Junior forward Julia Gosling, junior forward Anna Segedi and sophomore forward Abby Hustler each scored at Union, while sophomore forward Taylor Lum had two assists.
 
St. Lawrence enters Tuesday averaging 2.6 goals per game, while allowing 2.3 per contest. The Saints is 12-of-70 (17.1%) on the power play, and are 53-of-65 (81.5%) killing off penalties.
 
Gosling leads St. Lawrence 29 points on a team-best 12 goals and 17 assists. Hustler is second on the team with 21 points (8g, 13a), while Segedi is third with 18 points (10g, 8a).
 
Morgan has nine wins this season and enters Tuesday with a 2.24 goals against average and a .914 save percentage.
 
RIT vs. ST. LAWRENCE
St. Lawrence is 24-13-2 all-time versus RIT. Lum scored two goals and added an assist in the Saints 3-0 win on Nov. 5. First-year goalie Sophia Bellina made 31 saves in net for RIT, while Caitlin Whitehead made 11 stops for the Saints.
