ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT sophomore goaltender Sarah Coe was named to the 2023 Hockey Commissioners Association National Women's Goalie of the Year watch list as announced by the association on Wednesday.  
 
The conference offices come up with this initial "Watch List" of goalies from across division one programs. A committee of voters — made up of a cross section of coaches, administrators, and media — will ultimately choose the winner who will be announced in March during the NCAA Frozen Four.
 
Coe was one of 27 women's ice hockey goaltenders nationally who were named to the list and one of four from College Hockey America.
 
This season, the Brooklin, Ontario native has a .900 save percentage and a 3.28 GAA.
 
RIT returns to action on Friday (Jan. 13) at No. 12 Penn State at 6 p.m.
