ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's track & field team finished fourth out of 14 teams at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational, Saturday.
 
RIT totaled 86 points behind Geneseo (137.5), Brockport (137), the host Yellowjackets (136) and ahead of Ithaca (63) in the top-five. 

• Junior Tyler Hulse won the high jump (1.97m/6' 5.5") while sophomore Andrew Bernacki bested the javelin field (56.45m/185' 2").
• First-year Trenton Goyette, sophomore Justin Jantzi, and seniors Matthew Skakal and Otto Wilson teamed to win the 4x400 relay with an Atlantic Region Championship qualifying mark of 3:22.99.
• Jantzi also finished runner-up in the 100 with a 11.30 PR clocking.
• Senior Nick John placed second in the pole vault (4.57m/15' 0").
• First-year Ben Sheehan placed second in the long jump (6.92m/22' 8.5") 

WHAT'S NEXT
RIT competes at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships next Friday and Saturday (May 6-7), hosted by Vassar.
