Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's tennis team fell to Vassar, 9-0, in Liberty League play at the Midtown Athletic Club, Saturday.

In doubles play, RIT's first doubles pair of sophomore Jackie Drozd and freshman Gabby Donohue fell 8-1 to Sofie Shen and Melina Stavropoulos. RIT's second doubles team of sophomore Abby Murray and junior Mackenzie Wade lost to Sofie Shen and Melina Stavropoulos, 8-1. RIT graduate student Julia Smolowitz and senior Kirsten Auble fell 8-2 to Elyse Duley and Cara Kizibash in third doubles.

In singles play, Drozd fell in first singles to Tatum Blalock in a pair of 6-2 set defeats. Donohue lost a pair of 6-0 sets to Macey Dowd in second singles. Auble suffered a pair of 6-1 setbacks to Shen in third singles. In fourth singles, Murray lost 6-0, 6-1, to Stavropoulos. Smolowitz dropped a pair of 6-1 sets in fifth singles to Kizibash, and senior Julianne Ho fell by a pair of 6-1 sets to Duley in sixth singles.

Women's Tennis next hosts the University of Rochester on Saturday, April 2 with a 12 p.m. start.
